Police to tackle anti-social behaviour in March
Parking tickets, anti-social behaviour and drug raids were all discussed at Monday night’s March Town Council meeting.
During the meeting, councillors were updated about policing in the area.
Following his recent meeting with the police, Cllr Gary Christy said officers are focusing on drug raids, with one having taken place this week.
Cllr Christy said: “Some of these raids have been as a result of details that have been passed onto them.”
Councillors were also told about the number of parking tickets that have been issued lately and that police are cracking down on this.
During Cllr Christy's meeting with the police, officers also said they were looking at tackling anti-social behaviour by youths in the town centre.
