Wisbech man thanks those who helped after fall

This letter from Wisbech Town FC stalwart John Petch first appeared in Wednesday's Fenland Citizen...

I would like to thank the gentleman and young couple who found me injured by the side of the road after I had fallen over.

I was taken by ambulance to hospital and was soon in the capable hands of the staff at accident and emergency department of the the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn.

They were very kind to me and provided much professional care and support.

We are fortunate to have such people looking after us.
