Two dads raise more than £400 for Little Miracles Charity Centre in Wisbech after braving the shave

Two dads have finally braved the shave after weeks of growing their hair for a good cause.

Fred Beaumont and Andy Michelin let their hair and bears grow for six weeks starting on the first day of Lent - March 5

Fred dyed his beard and head neon red for the cause, and then on Easter Sunday, they had their beards and hair shaved, raising £402 for the Little Miracles Charity Centre in Wisbech.

The pair presented the cheque to the centre on Thursday.

Little Miracles charity is a vital asset for Wisbech that supports children in the area who have additional needs, disabilities and life-limiting conditions.

Veteran Fred and father of three Andy wanted to raise much-needed funds for the charity.

Little Miracles relies solely on donations to do its vital work, and Fred and Andy hope that others will be inspired to support the centre based in the Horse Fair.
