Two men remanded in prison after police bust Chatteris cannabis factory

Two men have been remanded in prison after Fenland Police’s Rural Crime Action Team busted a cannabis factory in Chatteris.

Acting on information earlier this week, officers came across the factory containing 259 cannabis plants in New Road.

A 26-year-old man and a 29-year-old man were arrested and charged with production of cannabis. They appeared in court on Wednesday and have been remanded to prison awaiting sentencing in July.
