Dave Simmonds won at Tydd Gote Angling Club for the second consecutive week
Dave 'Victor' Simmonds continued his fine run with victory at Tydd Gote Angling Club's most recent match.
He is the man in form at the moment, and took things up another notch during Halloween week.
This was his second win in as many attempts at Main Road, taking first place in the Wednesday Open.
With the silvers not co-operating, Simmonds set his sight on the larger fish.
His usual worm line approach paid dividends, with a big tench and a superb 2lb 9oz perch contributing to a 7lb 10oz total.
That number put him way out in front of nearest challenger Greg Brown, who finished second, with Gary Burton in third.
Simmonds also won the previous match from Peg 5, and will hope to continue his form as the season draws to a close throughout the coming weeks.
