The Hares had a bad day at the office away to Fulbourn, despite Josie Turner forcing a good save from the Fulbourn keeper early on.

Against the wind, Fulbourn took their chances well with four goals over a 25-minute period in the first half.

The Hares were much better in the second half, after strong words and a good review of the first half, and put in a performance expected of the team.

Eleanor McLeish went close and a header from Becky Russell just went wide.

Russell also went close with a long shot.

It was really a different Hares team for the second half and they were unfortunate to let another in with Fulbourn’s only shot on target.

PoM: Chloe Rimmer (determined and full-blooded throughout).
