March Athletics Club in action at Keith Hall Memorial 10k
Lots of March runners took part in the Keith Hall Memorial 10k in tough and windy conditions.
Andrew Jakeman was second in a close battle with the leader as he finished in 32:31. Glen Watts, fellow March AC superstar, finished fourth in 33:21.
Niall Jackson ran his best time in two years and Mark Godfrey beat his overall PB.
Kanina O’Neil earned yet another first place ladies prize in 38:23. Michelle Prior won her age category in a time of 42:34.
Serge Lambert ran his 10k PB as he finished in 42 minutes finishing as first junior for March AC.
Kai Stoner made his 10k debut in 45.54, while Sue Jolly was the third lady home for the March team as she ran a 10k PB.
Two of March’s finest youngsters ran the fun run.
Phoenix Head and Dylan Watts both had smashing runners as the speedy youngsters flew around the course. As well as the 10k race, some runners took on the Oakley 20 miler.
Andrew Wool was the first home for the March club in 02:41:02.
Karen Patterson was next as she crossed the line in 02:55:05 finishing sixtth in her age category.
Jason Mottram was next through the finish in 02:55:27.
Mike Blackledge was next as he crept in just under the three-hour mark as he ran a course PB ahead of his Manchester Marathon challenge.
