Seth Briggs-Williams, aged 13 from Leverington, did an eight-hour sponsored ‘tennisathon’ to raise money for Children In Need.
His target was to raise £200 and with the support of friends and tennis club members from David Lloyd Peterborough, where Seth trains, he managed to raise £260.
It was Seth’s idea to undertake the challenge to help others after watching the struggles of everyday life for some of the children on the TV programme.
After eight-hours of fun and games and hitting with people of all ages the pupil at Thomas Clarkson School completed his time on court with a little leg pain but a big smile.
Seth would like to thank everyone for their support.
