March golfers raise funds for the Royal Papworth Hospital Charity with senior competition

The March Golf Club senior section’s annual competition in aid of the Royal Papworth Hospital Charity raised a sum of £2,717.

The event was once again masterminded by senior Roger Watts, who presented the Papworth Cup to Garry Brinn, winner of the Stableford competition with 39 points.

Zoe Noyes, community fundraiser for the trust, was present at the ceremony and thanked March Golf Club for their continued support of the charity.

Watts' target this year was £2400, so he was delighted to exceed this by over £300.

He thanked the 34 participants, helpers, and all of the donors who gave so generously to help make the day such a success.
