March swimmers make big impression at development meet in King’s Lynn




Young swimmers from the Marlins Swimming Club made a strong impression at the West Norfolk Development Meet, held at Alive St James in King’s Lynn.

The event welcomed several Marlins competitors, many of whom were taking part in their first-ever gala.

Despite some nerves, the swimmers showed remarkable courage and determination, with performances that impressed coaches, parents, and spectators alike.

The team collectively achieved 21 personal bests, showcasing their continued improvement and dedication to the sport.

Their efforts also brought in a haul of medals: nine gold, six silver, and five bronze, making the meet a memorable success for the club.

Coaches praised the swimmers for their positive attitude and team spirit throughout the day.

The club is already looking ahead to future meets, encouraged by the progress and potential seen in this rising group of young athletes.
