March Golf Club's AGM welcomes new captain James Campbell
March Golf Club's AGM provided an opportunity to welcome their new club captain.
Andy Lilley was pleased to introduce James Campbell as the captain, and he will be ably supported by his vice captain Max Flintoff.
Dick Cannell, the outgoing president, welcomed Carolyn Morton as his replacement.
Carolyn has been an active member of the club since 1969, and said: "I’m so honoured to have been asked and I look forward to my presidency."
Prizes were awarded to Kenny Bird for winning the Morton Cup, Lewis Hearn for his Huit Shield victory and Ben Oliver for triumphing in the Intermediate cup.
Mark Peters won The Mond;, while Emma Smith and Stephen Durdant-Hollamby were victors in the mixed foursome knockout competition.
Jack Barlow was champion in the long handicap cup, while Andy Lilley won the Mottram Trophy and Derek Wisbey won the Club Open.
