March Golf Club rounds 2023 summer season off in style

March Golf Club marked the end of official summertime competitions with more than 80 members playing in the season finale stableford.
This event was hosted by George James and Son Funeral Services, and the weather was perfect for golf – and this was reflected in the results.
From the men’s section, Dave Henchley came first with 42 points and Jeff Dunham came second with 40 points.
Jean Alterton won the women’s section with 36 points, while Emma Athow was second with 35 points.
The prizes were presented by Brendan Smith and Sandra Skeels from George James. An evening buffet and entertainment from magician Josh Maddocks then rounded the event off in style.
